Terms of Use

Hamak is a collaborative tool that allows a group of people to organize a trip: proposing dates, adding and comparing lodgings, voting, exchanging messages and coordinating to choose a stay together.

Access to certain Hamak features (creating a trip, organizing) requires creating an account via a magic link sent by email or via Google sign-in. Participating in a trip as a member can be done without creating an account, via an anonymous identifier stored in your browser. A trip's organizer ("owner") and any co-organizers they designate have management rights over the trip (adding dates, lodgings, participants, inviting co-organizers). Other participants ("members") can view the trip, vote and comment according to the permissions set by the organizer. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account access means (magic link, Google session) and for any activity carried out from it.

You remain solely responsible for the content you post on Hamak (messages, comments, lodging information, links). You agree not to post unlawful, abusive, defamatory content or content that infringes the rights of third parties. The publisher reserves the right to remove any manifestly unlawful content brought to its attention.

Hamak is currently under development (MVP). The publisher makes reasonable efforts to ensure continuous access to the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held liable for interruptions related to maintenance, force majeure or technical malfunctions beyond its control.

The publisher cannot be held liable for travel decisions made by users based on information shared via the service (in particular lodging information automatically imported from third-party platforms such as Airbnb or Booking, the accuracy of which is not guaranteed by Hamak).

Hamak allows you to import information from Airbnb or Booking links and offers sign-in via Google. These third-party services are subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies, over which the publisher has no control.

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; failing an amicable agreement, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
